Canada in 5 Minutes: this page explains what information we collect on this site, why, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- If you join the waiting list: your email and, if you choose to share them, when your test is, your province or territory, your preferred language and the video that brought you here. We also keep the sign-up date, your quiz score and the consent text you accepted.
- If you write to us through the contact form: your email (so we can reply), the topic and your message. They are deleted within 12 months of our reply.
- To measure how the quiz is used: anonymous events (page view, quiz started, answer right or wrong, quiz finished). No cookies, no IP addresses stored, no advertising trackers.
Why
To let you know when the study app launches and to send you practice questions, only if you ticked the consent box. Anonymous statistics help us improve the quiz and the videos.
Where and for how long
The data is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We keep it for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email is deleted within 30 days. It is never sold or shared for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, through the contact form (choose “My personal information”). Every email also includes an unsubscribe link.
